# How to Schedule Canva Designs to Instagram, Facebook and YouTube With Inexra

Inexra connects to Canva, so a designer can finish a month of posts in Canva and you can schedule them for a client without downloading and re-uploading a single file. You pick the designs, Inexra exports them at full resolution, turns each one into a post, writes a caption in that client's brand voice if you want one, and puts them in front of you to review before anything is scheduled.

Inexra is listed in Canva's Apps Marketplace, and the integration is available on every plan.

## What the Canva integration does

- **Imports designs, not just images.** Inexra uses Canva's own export, so each page comes in at full resolution as a PNG or JPG, and video designs come in as MP4.
- **Turns multi-page designs into the right posts.** A design with several pages becomes a carousel by default (up to 10 pages each). You can switch a design to one post per page, or import its pages as Stories.
- **Keeps the music on Reels.** A video design imports as a Reel with its audio. Instagram's API cannot add a music track to a Reel, so exporting the video from Canva with the sound already in it is the way to schedule a Reel with music.
- **Writes captions in the client's voice.** Inexra can look at each design and write a caption using that client's brand voice: tone, phrases they use and words to avoid. You can turn this off and write your own.
- **Lands as drafts you review.** Every imported design arrives as a draft for the accounts you picked. On the review screen you can post now, schedule, edit or delete each one, split a carousel into separate posts or combine posts into one, and use Fill open slots to spread them across the client's posting schedule.

## Set it up

1. In Inexra, open Settings, then Integrations, and choose Canva.
2. Click Connect and sign in to Canva. Approve Inexra's access.
3. Open Posts and choose From Canva. Pick the designs, the client accounts they are for, and the post type.
4. Review the drafts, then schedule them.

If the client keeps their own Canva account, send them a client connect link from Inexra. They connect Canva (and their Instagram, Facebook or YouTube) themselves, with no Inexra login. Each client workspace connects one Canva account.

## Where this fits for an agency

Most agencies already design in Canva. The slow part is the hand-off: exporting each design, renaming files, uploading them to the scheduler, splitting carousels by hand and writing a caption for every post. The Canva integration removes that step, so the time goes into choosing what to post and getting the month approved by the client.

Once the posts are scheduled, the rest of Inexra picks them up: the client approves the month from one link, the posts publish on time, and the DMs and comments each post brings in are traced back to it in the client's report.

## FAQ

### Is the Canva integration free?

Yes. It is included on every Inexra plan, including the free Starter plan.

### Can I schedule a Canva Reel with music?

Yes. Make the Reel as a video design in Canva with the audio in it, then import it. Inexra imports the MP4 with its sound and schedules it as a Reel. Instagram's API cannot attach a track from Instagram's music library, so the audio has to come from the design itself.

### What happens to a design with ten or more pages?

By default its pages become carousels of up to 10. You can also import every page as its own post, or as Stories.

### Does disconnecting Canva delete my designs?

No. Disconnecting removes Inexra's access to your Canva account and revokes the sign-in on Canva's side. Your designs stay in Canva, and posts you already imported stay in Inexra.

### Which platforms can I schedule Canva designs to?

Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. A design can go to several of a client's accounts at once, and Inexra only offers the post types each platform supports.
