What should I show a client at a social media renewal meeting?
By Kaitlyn Bricker · October 14, 2026
One page: the result against the goal you agreed, the two or three posts that brought in the most business, what didn't work and what you changed, and a target and plan for the next 90 days. Send it 48 hours ahead and keep reach and engagement charts in an appendix.
A renewal is a buying decision, and the client is asking one question: was this worth it? A quarterly version of the monthly report, with more charts, doesn't answer it.
Lead with the number. "You asked for 30 enquiries a month and averaged 34." If you missed, say so in the first line; it costs far less trust than letting them find it on slide fourteen.
Then name the posts that started real business ("the behind-the-scenes reel started nine conversations, four booked"), one honest line on what didn't work, and the next 90 days with a target and what you need from them.
If you never agreed a goal, use this meeting to set one, so the next renewal is just reading out a result.
